Let me tell you a little about my background. My accounting career goes back 25 plus years to when I was an accounting clerk for a national household goods carrier. I worked my way up the accounting ladder to become a Controller for another Moving and Storage company in the Greater Washington, DC area. I later moved on to be the Controller for several local companies in advertising, telecommunications, retail and transportation industries.
I received a BS in Accounting, and have an Masters in Business Administration. I am currently working on becoming a Quickbooks Certified Pro Advisor.
Having worked my way up the ladder, I have had years of practical experience in all facets of accounting. I actually know how it should be done. I began doing consulting work 15 years ago at the request of some local business contacts. This was just a side job for me at the time. I have always wanted to help the small business owner with their accounting needs. I moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 3 years ago and have been providing accounting and consulting services full time since then.
Caroline my wife of 23 years assists with the business and has had over 30 years of experience at all levels in the retail world. (Store Management, Buying, Visual Display and Operations) She has worked extensively in woman's fashion and childrens wear. She has a solid background in general bookkeeping as well.
